Initially drawn to a social journalism class with the perhaps naive expectation of an easy credit, I quickly discovered the depth and artistry involved, particularly through a pivotal photojournalism assignment. This experience sparked a genuine fascination with capturing and editing life's moments, a fascination that has remained a constant ever since.

My commitment to service led me to the United States Army, where photography played a significant role in two key aspects of my experience. Firstly, I regularly volunteered to document unit events, capturing important moments and fostering camaraderie within my team. This provided invaluable experience in real-time event coverage and understanding the importance of preserving organizational memories. Secondly, my time in the military also coincided with the discovery of another deep passion: the automotive scene. Immersing myself in this vibrant community, attending numerous events, and embarking on countless drives with friends, my camera was never far from my side. This personal pursuit allowed me to hone my skills in capturing dynamic subjects, action, and the unique aesthetic of the automotive world, further diversifying my photographic eye.

Beyond my personal pursuits and military service, I gained valuable professional experience in the field of dealership photography.
